  • New RUNet Password Reset
    As part of ongoing password security measures, users are required to change their RUNet password. Information Technology (IT) will notify users via e-mail with a date and time by which their RUNet password needs to be changed by. Users may change their passwords before hand, but will still receive the e-mail notification. Users who have changed their password since June 2, 2008 (to access RUWirelessSecure, for example) do not need to change it again.

    Your RUNet password is the password used to log in to various IT services such as e-mail, VPN, (s)ELF, Oracle Calendar, Central File Store (CFS), and the Windows Domain (ROCKEFELLERNT)). Users that allow their password to expire, will not be able to access e-mail and other resource until it is changed.

  • New New Secure Wireless Network – connect to campus without VPN
    Secure wireless access to the campus network without the need for VPN is now available campuswide. The new RUWirelessSecure network allows you to establish a secure, encrypted connection to restricted campus resources and the Internet, protecting your information from a potential wireless attack. To connect to RUWirelessSecure, you must have a valid RUNet account. Your RUNet login is the same username and password you use to log in to e-mail, Webmail, Central File Store (CFS), your Windows Domain, Exchange of Large Files (ELF) and other electronic services on the campus network.

  • SPSS 16.0.2 Patch Now Available for PC/Mac
    A patch for SPSS 16 is now available. This release is a free incremental update to SPSS 16.0. This update corrects over 100 most commonly requested customer issues, including improvements to the performance and usability of SPSS 16.0.
